On March 5, 2024, Kandi Development Services (KANDI) staff, led by the Head of Programs, Strategy, and Development, paid a program/courtesy visit to Dr. Eno Attah, Executive Secretary (ES) of the Akwa Ibom State Primary Health Care Development Agency (AKSPHCDA), as part of their Health/Social Welfare Practice responsibility. The purpose of the visit was to follow up on prior projects and look for ways to collaborate to strengthen the Agency’s coordination of private-sector partnerships to improve primary health resources.
During the visit, the KANDI team, which included Ndifreke Mbaba (Head of Programs, Strategy, and Development), Dr. Enobong Fred (Senior Associate), and Esther Emmanuel (Program Support), discussed ways to use recent State and National assessments to strengthen the AKSPHCDA’s coordination capacity and systems. The ultimate goal was to improve healthcare service delivery for everybody while also aligning with the state’s mandate to develop a better primary care system.
