On March 8, 2024, we convened to mark International Women’s Day, a day set aside each year around the world to celebrate women’s achievements, strength, and persistence to accomplish orientation fairness. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of including women, promoting communication, and developing consideration in all aspects of society.
Women have faced countless hardships throughout history, yet they have persevered, overcoming barriers and smashing stereotypes. Today we recognize women’s courage, determination, and important contributions to our families, communities, economy, and cultures.
During the celebration, we highlighted the ongoing disparities and injustices women face. Gender inequities in education, healthcare, employment, and political representation persist in many areas of our society. It is critical to confront these inequities and strive relentlessly to dismantle the systemic hurdles that impede women’s advancement.
On this International Women’s Day, we renew our commitment to achieving gender equality, promoting inclusion, and celebrating women’s achievements. We stand in solidarity, amplify women’s voices, advocate for women’s rights, and seek to create a more equal and prosperous future.
