Private Sector Investment forum for Primary Health Care

Sustaining and improving the primary health care is a major route to achieving #HealthForAll, especially for the poor and vulnerable, emphasizing rural health access. So, 9 November, 2023, marked a unique day when various levels of program design, planning and engagements with public and the private sector, facilitated by Kandi’s Ndifreke Mbaba, the Lead Consultant, with eHealth Africa and Akwa Ibom State Primary Health Care Development Agency (AKSPHCDA), finally yielded key stakeholders coming together, during an innovative health financing activity, The Public and Private Sector Investment Forum, discussing and making investment commitments, as Early Risers, to address gaps in primary health care programs/system, a journey towards #HealthForAll.

The epoch-making event held at the prestigious Four Points by Sheraton hotel, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and had in attendance, stakeholders from the Private Sector associations/compnies, Oil & Gas, Finance, Telecoms, Humanitarian, Charity groups, development partners, Academia, Hospitality, Government, Political class, etc. The excitement was palpable amongst stakeholders, especially the national as well as the State primary health care agencies. Better days ahead as regards primary health care for our pregnant women, children and the general population.
